Welcome to The 28th Rat
The 28th Rat is an Australian rattery focusing on the rex variety of rat. We opened in early 2008 after many years of experience with rats as pets, our objective to produce sound and well-adjusted animals for the ratty lovers of Australia. Using 28rats.com we hope to promote rats as pets by educating existing ratty enthusiasts and raising awareness to others. Where can you find us?
The 28th Rat is located in rural Tamworth, NSW. For those who aren't quite sure where that is click here (coming soon) for Google Maps. We also send our rats by freight, so if you live far away don't be shy.
The 28th Rat is on hiatus
We are taking a break from breeding for a few years. I have recently started a new full-time career and as a result I have less time to dedicate towards the rats. Instead of breeding we will be focusing on promoting our website and attending more rat-related events.
